A very warm New Year’s wishes to you. I hope the festive season brought you some of what you needed.
This month will focus on mindfulness for emotional resilience, something that I believe will be invaluable not only for the coming months but is a crucial skill for life. We get caught in thinking that life will be ok if we some how run out of challenges, but life is always challenging and if you consider a life without challenge seriously enough, you may find that the absence of challenge leaves its own kind of disquiet. A mindful approach therefore helps us manage life’s challenges as compassionately as possible, for our own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others.
To support this we will explore the six human needs model in conjunction with an approach of mindful enquiry.
All classes start at 7pm but I will be online from 6.50pm in case you want to discuss any aspects of mindfulness further before we begin.
